حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، قَالَ: نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:

كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَكَانَ يَبْدَأُ فَيَغْسِلُ مَا أَصَابَهُ ثُمَّ يَتَوَضَّأُ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ يُخَلِّلُ رَأْسَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى جَسَدِهِ فَضْلَ مَائِهِ

Translation

✧ I used to bathe, I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, from a single vessel. He would begin and wash what had touched him, then perform wudu as for prayer, then run his fingers through his hair twice, then pour water over his head three times, then pour the remaining water over his body.
