أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ: عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَاتِي الْكُوفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، ثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ:
كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ اعْتَمَرَ وَطَافَ وَطُفْنَا مَعَهُ، وَصَلَّى وَصَلَّيْنَا مَعَهُ وَسَعَى بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ، وَكُنَّا نَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ لَا يُصِيبُهُ شَيْءٌ
