وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ أَنْبَأَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:

أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ وَمَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ كَانُوا يُخَمِّرُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَهُمْ حُرُمٌ
