أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ: عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ، ثَنَا صَفْوَانُ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءً الْخُرَاسَانِيَّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَوْثِ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ، قَالَ:
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ فَرِيضَةُ اللهِ فِي الْحَجِّ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَتَمَالَكُ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ، فَمَا تَرَى أَنْ أَحُجَّ عَنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. حُجَّ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَكَذَلِكَ مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَهْلِينَا وَلَمْ يُوصِ بِحَجٍّ، فَنَحُجُّ عَنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، وَتُؤْجَرُونَ "، قَالَ: وَيُتَصَدَّقُ عَنْهُ وَيُصَامُ عَنْهُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ ". وَالصَّدَقَةُ أَفْضَلُ، وَكَذَلِكَ فِي النُّذُورِ وَالْمَشْيِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ
