( حَدَّثَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو سَعِيدِ ابْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ، ( ح ): وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، وَأَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ، قَالَا: أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، قَالَا: ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَثَلُ الْمُنْفِقِ وَالْبَخِيلِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلَيْنِ عَلَيْهِمَا جُنَّتَانِ أَوْ جُبَّتَانِ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ مِنْ لَدُنْ ثُدِيِّهِمَا إِلَى تَرَاقِيهِمَا، فَإِذَا أَرَادَ الْمُنْفِقُ أَنْ يُنْفِقَ سَبَغَتْ عَلَيْهِ الدِّرْعُ أَوْ مَرَّتْ حَتَّى تُجِنَّ بَنَانَهُ وَتَعْفُوَ أَثَرَهُ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ الْبَخِيلُ أَنْ يُنْفِقَ قَلَصَتْ عَلَيْهِ وَلَزِمَتْ كُلُّ حَلْقَةٍ مَوْضِعَهَا حَتَّى أَخَذَتْ بِعُنُقِهِ أَوْ بِتَرْقُوَتِهِ، فَهُوَ يُوَسِّعُهَا، وَهِيَ لَا تَتَّسِعُ، فَهُوَ يُوَسِّعُهَا، وَهِيَ لَا تَتَّسِعُ
