وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ بِخَطِّ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الْمُسْتَمْلِي، سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي الذُّهْلِيَّ يَقُولُ:
اسْتَعَرْتُ مِنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ صَاعَ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ مَكْتُوبًا: صَاعُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ مُعَيَّرٌ عَلَى صَاعِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَلَا أَحْسَبُنِي إِلَّا عَيَّرْتُهُ بِالْعَدَسِ، فَوَجَدْتُهُ خَمْسَةَ أَرْطَالٍ وَثُلُثًا
