( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ:
اتَّخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ، فَكَانَ فِي يَدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُمَرَ، ثُمَّ كَانَ فِي يَدِ عُثْمَانَ ؓ، حَتَّى وَقَعَ مِنْهُ فِي بِئْرِ أَرِيسٍ، نَقْشُهُ: مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ
