( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ - مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ - عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ:

وَقَفْتُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ إِذْ جَاءَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَتَدْرِي مِمَّا تَوَضَّأْتُ ؟ قَالَ: لَا. قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ: مِنْ ثَوْرِ أَقِطٍ أَكَلْتُهُ. فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: مَا أُبَالِي مِمَّا تَوَضَّأْتَ، وَاللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ
