( أَخْبَرَنَا ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَبُو عُتْبَةَ، ثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، حَدَّثَنِي رَاشِدُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ - مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ:
أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَرَأَى نَاسًا خُرُوجًا عَلَى دَوَابِّهِمْ رُكْبَانًا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ ثَوْبَانُ: أَلَا تَسْتَحْيُونَ، مَلَائِكَةُ اللهِ عَلَى أَقْدَامِهِمْ وَأَنْتُمْ رُكْبَانٌ
