( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ شَوْذَبٍ الْمُقْرِي، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ:
أُتِيَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ: قُتِلَ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ هَاشِمٍ فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ مَا يُكَفَّنُ فِيهِ إِلَّا بُرْدَةٌ، وَكَانَ خَيْرًا مِنِّي، وَقُتِلَ حَمْزَةُ أَوْ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَلَمْ يُوجَدْ مَا يُكَفَّنُ فِيهِ إِلَّا بُرْدَةٌ
