( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَنْبَأَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:
لَمَّا مَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَضَهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ، أَسْنَدَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ ؓ إِلَى صَدْرِهَا، فَجَعَلَ يَتَغَشَّاهُ الْكَرْبُ. فَقَالَتْ: وَاكَرْبَ أَبَتَاهْ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عَلَى أَبِيكِ كَرْبٌ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ فَلَمَّا قُبِضَ وَدُفِنَ، قَالَتْ لِي فَاطِمَةُ: يَا أَنَسُ أَطَابَتْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْثُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟
