( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ، أَنْبَأَ الشَّافِعِيُّ، قَالَ: بَلَغَنِي
أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لِسَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ؓ: أَلَا نَتَّخِذُ لَكَ شَيْئًا كَأَنَّهُ الصُّنْدُوقُ مِنَ الْخَشَبِ ؟ فَقَالَ: بَلِ اصْنَعُوا بِي مَا صَنَعْتُمْ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ انْصِبُوا عَلَيَّ اللَّبِنَ، وَأَهِيلُوا عَلَيَّ التُّرَابَ
