أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ:

قَالَ لِي أُمَيَّةُ وَأَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَهُ: يَا عَبْدَ الْإِلَهِ، مَنِ الرَّجُلُ مِنْكُمْ مُعَلَّمٌ بِرِيشَةِ نَعَامَةٍ فِي صَدْرِهِ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: ذَاكَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، فَقَالَ: ذَاكَ فَعَلَ بِنَا الْأَفَاعِيلَ
