أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الْعَلَوِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ دُحَيْمٍ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ:
شَهِدْتُ الدَّارَ يَوْمَ قُتِلَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ فَمَرَرْتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُنَادِي فِي ظُلَّةِ النِّسَاءِ، مُحْتَبٍ بِسَيْفِهِ، عَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَإِذَا عَلِيٌّ ؓ قَالَ: مَا صُنِعَ بِالرَّجُلِ ؟ قُلْتُ: قُتِلَ، قَالَ: تَبًّا لَكُمْ سَائِرَ الدَّهْرِ
