أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَرْدَسْتَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ؓ إِلَى عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ: انْظُرْ إِلَى أَهْلِ كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلِ قَرَارٍ لَيْسُوا هُمْ بِأَهْلِ عَمُودٍ يَنْتَقِلُونَ فَأَمِّرْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَمِيرًا، ثُمَّ مُرْهُ فَلْيُجَمِّعْ بِهِمْ
