( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ هَمْدَانَ بِمَرْوَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْبِرْتِيُّ، ثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عِتْبَانَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَاهُ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ فَلَمْ يَجْلِسْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى قَالَ: أَيْنَ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ فِي بَيْتِكَ. " قَالَ: فَأَشَرْتُ لَهُ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ قَالَ: فَكَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ
