( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَدْرٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ سَعِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ:
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ، فَقَالَ: كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يُوتِرُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ، فَإِذَا قَامَ نَقَضَ وِتْرَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى، ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ آخِرَ صَلَاتِهِ أَوَاخِرَ اللَّيْلِ، وَكَانَ عُمَرُ يُوتِرُ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ، وَكَانَ خَيْرٌ مِنِّي وَمِنْهُمَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يُوتِرُ أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ وَيَشْفَعُ آخِرَهُ
