( أَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السُّوسِيُّ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ قَالُوا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
" صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، فَإِذَا أُرِيتَ أَنَّ الصُّبْحَ مُدْرِكُكَ فَأَوْتِرْ بِرَكْعَةٍ ". فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: مَا مَثْنَى ؟ قَالَ: تُسَلِّمُ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
