وَأَنْبَأَ ) عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أَنْبَأَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ:
الْوِتْرُ لَيْسَ بِحَتْمٍ كَالصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سُنَّةٌ سَنَّهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
