أَنْبَأَ ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثَنَا يُونُسُ:

أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقَائِلَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ ؓ وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَلِيفَةٌ يَقِيلُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَيَقُومُ وَأَثَرُ الْحَصَى بِجَنْبِهِ فَيَقُولُ: هَذَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ هَذَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ. قَالَ يُونُسُ: بِإِصْبَعِهِ وَحَرَّكَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِصْبَعَهُ السَّبَّابَةَ وَنَحْنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ غِلْمَانٌ
