( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، ثَنَا أَبِي، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، هُوَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ:
لَأَنْ أَقْعُدَ عَلَى جَمْرَةٍ أَوْ جَمْرَتَيْنِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَقْعُدَ مُتَرَبِّعًا فِي الصَّلَاةِ
