أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحُرْفِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ، ثَنَا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، ثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ، قَالَ:

تَمَارَوْا فِي الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ، فَأَتَوْا خَارِجَةَ بْنَ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، فَقَالَ: قَالَ لِي أَبِي: قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ، وَلَا أَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِقِرَاءَةٍ، فَنَحْنُ نَفْعَلُهُ
