( وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَشُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ:
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فَقَالَ: أَنْصِتْ لِلْقُرْآنِ؛ فَإِنَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شُغْلًا، وَسَيَكْفِيكَ ذَاكَ الْإِمَامُ
