أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ثَنَا أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ: مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ حُدَيْجٍ قَالَ:

رَأَيْتُ طَاوُسًا يُقْعِي، فَقُلْتُ: رَأَيْتُكَ تُقْعِي، فَقَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتَنِي أُقْعِي، وَلَكِنَّهَا الصَّلَاةُ، رَأَيْتُ الْعَبَادِلَةَ الثَّلَاثَةَ يَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ: عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، وَعَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يَفْعَلُونَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو زُهَيْرٍ: وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يُقْعِي.
