وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: جَنَاحُ بْنُ نَذِيرِ بْنِ جَنَاحٍ الْقَاضِي بِالْكُوفَةِ، ثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرِ بْنُ دُحَيْمٍ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، أَنْبَأَ يَعْلَى، وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْنَا خَبَّابًا: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْأُولَى وَالْعَصْرِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. قُلْنَا: بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: بِاضْطِرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ
