( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ سَمْعَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ:

أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بَاعَتْ نَبْهَانَ مُكَاتَبًا لَهَا فَقَالَتِ: ادْفَعْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ كِتَابَتِكَ إِلَى ابْنِ أَخِي ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ فَإِنِّي قَدْ أَعَنْتُهُ بِهَا ثُمَّ لَا تُكَلِّمْنِي إِلَّا مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ فَبَكَى نَبْهَانُ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ ؓ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَنَا: إِذَا كَاتَبَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ عَبْدَهَا فَلْيَرَهَا مَا بَقِيَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ كِتَابَتِهِ فَإِذَا قَضَاهَا فَلَا تُكَلِّمَنَّ إِلَّا مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ
