( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ مَطَرٍ، وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ السَّرَّاجِ، قَالَا: أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ ( وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ ) قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ: الْمُؤْمِنُ يَلْحَقُ بِهِ ذُرِّيَّتُهُ لِيُقِرَّ اللهُ بِهِمْ عَيْنَهُ وَإِنْ كَانُوا دُونَهُ فِي الْعَمَلِ
