( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثَنَا مِسْوَرُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ

فَقُلْنَا لِجَابِرٍ: مَا أَرَادَ مَا وَقَى بِهِ الْمَرْءُ عِرْضَهُ ؟ قَالَ: يَعْنِي الشَّاعِرَ وَذَا اللِّسَانِ الْمُتَّقَى كَأَنَّهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِي يُتَّقَى لِسَانُهُ
