أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ الطَّائِفِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ نُجَيْدِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّهُ أَعْطَى شَاعِرًا فَقِيلَ لَهُ: يَا أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ أَتُعْطِي شَاعِرًا ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي أَفْتَدِي عِرْضِي مِنْهُ
