أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَعْقُوبَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ الرَّبِيعَ بْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ الشَّافِعِيَّ يَقُولُ:

لَعِبَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ بِالشَّطْرَنْجِ مِنْ وَرَاءِ ظَهْرِهِ فَيَقُولُ: بِأَيْشِ دَفَعَ كَذَا ؟ قَالَ: بِكَذَا قَالَ: ادْفَعْ بِكَذَا
