قَالَ: وَثَنَا ) سَعِيدٌ، ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَنْبَأَ حُصَيْنٌ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا جُلِدَ حَدًّا فِي قَذْفٍ بِالرِّيبَةِ، فَلَمَّا فُرِغَ مِنْ ضَرْبِهِ أَحْدَثَ تَوْبَةً قَالَ: أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ، وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ قَذْفِ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ، فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا الزِّنَادِ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لِي: الْأَمْرُ عِنْدَنَا إِذَا رَجَعَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ، وَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُ قُبِلَتْ شَهَادَتُهُ
