وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو نَصْرِ بْنُ قَتَادَةَ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مَنْصُورٍ النَّضْرَوِيُّ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ السُّحْتِ أَهُوَ رِشْوَةٌ فِي الْحُكْمِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَا أَنْـزَلَ اللهُ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ، وَالظَّالِمُونَ، وَالْفَاسِقُونَ، وَلَكِنَّ السُّحْتَ: أَنْ يَسْتَعِينَكَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى مَظْلَمَةٍ، فَيُهْدِيَ لَكَ، فَتَقْبَلَهُ، فَذَلِكَ السُّحْتُ
