( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، أَنْبَأَ الرَّبِيعُ، قَالَ: قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ - رَحِمَهُ اللهُ حِكَايَةً عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَرِيفٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَ:
دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ بَيْتَ الْمَالِ، فَأَضْرَطَ بِهِ، وَقَالَ: لَا أُمْسِي وَفِيكَ دِرْهَمٌ، فَأَمَرَ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ فَقَسَمَهُ إِلَى اللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ: لَوْ عَوَّضْتَهُ، فَقَالَ: إِنْ شَاءَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ سُحْتٌ
