( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنْبَأَ الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ شَاذَانُ، ثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" الْخَيْلُ ثَلَاثَةٌ: فَرَسٌ لِلرَّحْمَنِ، وَفَرَسٌ لِلشَّيْطَانِ، وَفَرَسٌ لِلْإِنْسَانِ. فَأَمَّا فَرَسُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَالَّذِي يُرْتَبَطُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، رَوْثُهُ وَبَوْلُهُ فِي مِيزَانِهِ، وَأَمَّا فَرَسُ الشَّيْطَانِ فَالَّذِي يُرَاهَنُ عَلَيْهِ، وَأَمَّا فَرَسُ الْإِنْسَانِ فَالَّذِي يَرْتَبِطُهَا، يَلْتَمِسُ بَطْنَهَا مَخَافَةَ الْفَقْرِ
