( حَدَّثَنَا ) أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ - إِمْلَاءً - أَنْبَأَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَاكِهِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِي، ثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:
" إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يُنْزِلْ دَاءً إِلَّا وَضَعَ لَهُ شِفَاءً إِلَّا السَّامَ، فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِأَلْبَانِ الْبَقَرِ، فَإِنَّهَا تَرُمُّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَجَرٍ

machine translationMy father said: Only al-Masʿūdī, al-Rabīʿ b. al-Rakīn and Abū Wakīʿ transmitted this hadith with a connected chain (musnad). As for al-Thawrī, only al-Firyābī transmits it from him with a connected chain. I do not think al-Thawrī heard it from Qays; I consider it to be a concealed transmission (mudallas).
