I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the forenoon during the days of the Conquest. He ordered water, and it was poured for him into a large bowl, as if I could see the trace of dough in it. He ordered a garment, and it was held up as a screen between me and him, and he washed. Then he prayed the forenoon prayer (ṣalāt al-ḍuḥā), eight rakʿahs.
