( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ ؓ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّيْدِ، فَقُلْتُ: أُرْسِلُ كَلْبِي فَأَجِدُ مَعَ كَلْبِي كَلْبًا آخَرَ لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا أَخَذَ. فَقَالَ: لَا تَأْكُلْهُ؛ فَإِنَّكَ إِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتَ عَلَى كَلْبِكَ وَلَمْ تُسَمِّ عَلَى غَيْرِهِ
