( وَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَرْدَسْتَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْهِلَالِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُ سَعْدًا قُلْتُ: إِنَّ لَنَا كِلَابًا ضَوَارِيَ فَيُمْسِكْنَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَأْكُلْنَ وَيُبْقِينَ ؟ قَالَ: كُلْ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُبْقِينَ إِلَّا نِصْفَهُ
