أَخْبَرَنَا ) مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، وَصَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ؓ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: الرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلْمَغْنَمِ، وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِلذِّكْرِ، وَالرَّجُلُ يُقَاتِلُ لِيُعْرَفَ، فَمَنْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالَ: مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ
