قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا ) الصَّلْتُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ:
أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ فِي زَمَنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَهْلِ السَّوَادِ أَلَهُمْ عَهْدٌ ؟ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ عَهْدٌ، فَلَمَّا رُضِيَ مِنْهُمْ بِالْخَرَاجِ صَارَ لَهُمُ الْعَهْدُ
