أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْخَفَّافُ، قَالُوا: ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ:
أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ قَتَلُوا فَأَكْثَرُوا، وَزَنَوْا فَأَكْثَرُوا، ثُمَّ أَتَوْا مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ الَّذِي تَقُولُ وَتَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ لَحَسَنٌ، وَلَوْ تُخْبِرُنَا أَنَّ لِمَا عَمِلْنَا كَفَّارَةً، فَنَزَلَتْ: وَالَّذِينَ لا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ وَلا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللهُ إِلا بِالْحَقِّ وَلا يَزْنُونَ، وَنَزَلَتْ: يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللهِ الْآيَةَ
