Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Yaḥyā b. ʿAbd al-Jabbār al-Sukkarī informed us: Ismāʿīl b. Muḥammad al-Ṣaffār informed us: Aḥmad b. Manṣūr narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us: Maʿmar informed us, from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah, from Jābir (may God be pleased with him), and he mentioned the hadith with similar meaning. Maʿmar said: Qatādah used to mention something like this, and he mentioned that some people of the Arabs wanted to attack the Prophet ﷺ by surprise, so they sent this Bedouin, and he would recite: {اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ هَمَّ قَوْمٌ} the verse.
