I was present with ʿAlī (may God be pleased with him) at al-Raḥabah while he was distributing a fifth among the people. A man from Ḥaḍramawt stole an iron helmet from the goods, and he was brought to ʿAlī (may God be pleased with him), who said: "There is no amputation upon him; he is a betrayer of trust, and he has a share."
