al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Bayhaqi) 17051

✧ The stoned one is washed and prayed over, then buried

( وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْقَبَّانِيُّ، ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي. فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

" لَوْ قُسِمَتْ بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ، وَهَلْ وَجَدْتَ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَنْ جَادَتْ بِنَفْسِهَا لِلهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
