✧ Whoever said regarding the apostate that he is asked to repent in his place; if he repents, then otherwise he is killed

( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى قَالَ:
كَانَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ؓ: يَدْعُو الْمُرْتَدَّ ثَلَاثَ مِرَارٍ، ثُمَّ يَقْتُلُهُ
