أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ:
فَجَاءَ وَفْدُ بُزَاخَةَ أَسَدٍ وَغَطَفَانَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ يَسْأَلُونَهُ الصُّلْحَ، فَخَيَّرَهُمْ بَيْنَ الْحَرْبِ الْمُجْلِيَةِ، أَوِ السَّلْمِ الْمُخْزِيَةِ
