وَأَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سَلَمَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيُّ. وَقَالَ:
ثُمَّ سَأَلَهُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ، أَوْ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ، فَجَذَبَهُ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ
