أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو عَمْرٍو: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ، ثَنَا الْفَارَيَابِيُّ، ثَنَا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنْبَأَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ:
هُزِمَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ هَزِيمَةً تُعْرَفُ فِيهِمْ، فَصَرَخَ إِبْلِيسُ: أَيْ عِبَادَ اللهِ، أُخْرَاكُمْ، فَرَجَعَتْ أُولَاهُمْ، فَاجْتَلَدَتْ هِيَ وَأُخْرَاهُمْ، فَنَظَرَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ الْيَمَانِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ بِأَبِيهِ، فَقَالَ: أَبِي أَبِي، فَوَاللهِ، مَا انْحَجَزُوا عَنْهُ حَتَّى قَتَلُوهُ، فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكُمْ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ: فَوَاللهِ، مَا زَالَتْ فِي حُذَيْفَةَ بَقِيَّةُ خَيْرٍ حَتَّى لَقِيَ اللهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
