The Prophet ﷺ used to assess the camels owed by the people of the villages at four hundred dinars or its equivalent in silver, and he would apportion it according to the prices of camels. When they became expensive, he raised their value, and when they became cheap, he reduced their price for the people of the villages, whatever the price was.
