( أَخْبَرَنَا ) أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، ثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ، ثَنَا بَحْرٌ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ:
أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى صُبْحٍ، وَفِي يَدِهِ دِرَّتُهُ يُوقِظُ بِهَا النَّاسَ فَضَرَبَهُ ابْنُ مُلْجَمٍ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ: أَطْعِمُوهُ وَاسْقُوهُ، وَأَحْسِنُوا إِسَارَهُ، فَإِنْ عِشْتُ فَأَنَا وَلِيُّ دَمِي أَعْفُو إِنْ شِئْتُ وَإِنْ شِئْتُ اسْتَقَدْتُ
